Dora Mae Beckham Richey of Morristown, Tennessee, formerly of Smiths Grove passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 surrounded by her sons. The Warren County native was a life-long member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a seamstress from Union Underwear. She was lovingly known to her family and friends as Mama Mae.

She is survived by three sons: Larry Richey and wife Mary-Garnett of Scottsville, Steven Richey and wife Renai of Morristown, Tennessee and James Richey of Knoxville; one son in law: Michael Orange of Simpsonville, Kentucky; one sister: Louise Payne of Glasgow; one brother-in-law: Roland Richey and wife Geneva of Smiths Grove; seven grandchildren: Joe and Michael Richey of Morristown, Stephanie Nester and husband Dean of Greenfield, Indiana, Gabrielle White and husband Richard of Dallas, Texas, Erica Orange Stender Duhr and husband Robert of Shelbyville, Danielle Orange Steele and husband JR of Fishersville, Kentucky and Bert Richey and wife Jaime of Independence, Kentucky; nine great-grandchildren: Eli, Samuel and Gabriel Nester, Bradley Stender, Jonathon and Catherine White, Jenna and Bailey Richey and Thomas Steele and sisters in laws: Louis Beckham of Smiths Grove and Jean Beckham of Whites Town, Indiana.

Celebration of Life services for Dora Mae Beckham Richey will be at 1PM Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel with interment in Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4PM to 8PM Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the funeral home.
