The Lady Scotties hosted the Lady Falcons in the last home match of the year.  As

such, the Lady Scotties celebrated the careers of the following Seniors:


Kristen Garmon, Elizabeth Garrett, MacLean Lessenberry, Maitlin Nuckols, Mikayla

Powell, and Chandra Taylor.


The Lady Scotties won 8-2 and improved their season record to 11-1-3.

The Lady Scotties will travel to Keriakes Park in Bowling Green on Tuesday to face

Warren East at 4:30 PM.



The Scottie boys tennis team ended their regular home season Monday night with a win

over Monroe County.  Before the match began, Sabid Mir was honored as the only

senior player on the Scotties this season.  Sabid led the Scotties to the win as he

won his singles match 8-4 and teamed with Adam Garrett to win the #2 doubles court

6-1, 6-4.  Garrett also won his singles match as well 8-1.  Additionally, Cody Jones

and Ashab Ahmed continued to demonstrate improved play by winning court 1 doubles in

straight sets 6-1, 6-4, and the Scotties #3 doubles team of Brian Sadler and Nick

Stone won their match 8-5.  Playing court 6 singles, Dalton Bishop won by a score of

8-3 and then Nick Stone won an exhibition singles match 8-4.  Jones and Ahmed closed

out the match by losing to Monroe's #1 and #2 singles players 5-8 and 6-8.  The

Scotties will now play away matches at Warren East and Bowling Green High before

participating in the Regional Tennis Tournament at Bowling Green on Saturday.  Cody

Jones and Ashab Ahmed will play a doubles team from Clinton County at 10:30; Brian

Sadler will play singles against an Allen Co./Scottsville opponent at 11:30; and

Sabid Mir and Adam Garrett will play the #3 seeded doubles team from Logan Co. at

noon.  All matches for the boys will be at Bowling Green High School.
