ONE OF THE OLDER HOMES IN EASTERN BARREN COUNTY DESTROYED BY FIRE PDF Print

One of the older homes in Eastern Barren County was destroyed by fire early this morning.  Firemen from East Barren Fire Department got the call at 2:45 this morning to respond to 498 Depp Loop Road.  The home is owned by Gala Clay, who is the assistant fire chief at East Barren Fire Department.  Temple Hill and Summer Shade Firemen were called in to assist East Barren.  Fire Chief Frankie Pace told WCLU Local news that the house had already caved in by the time they  arrived.  There were no injuries or damage estimate reported.  Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
