Sara Hammond, whose local connection was a feature on yesterday’s newscasts,  scored 15 points to lead the Louisville, last night, but it wasn’t enough against the Uconn ladies.

Connecticut won its 8th national championship with a  93-60 win over Louisville in Louisville last night.

The victory tied the Huskies (35-4) with Pat Summitt and Tennessee for the most titles in women's basketball history.  The lady cards ended their season with a record of 29 and 9

 

 

Today is Linda Wells Day!  Linda is retiring from Donnelly's with 36 years of service.
