L.G. Bryant, 80 of Bowling Green died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was a son of the late Gene Bryant and Bessie Spainhoward Bryant Gibson and preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. He was a lifetime farmer and member of Boiling Springs United Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Mary Bewley Bryant; a daughter, Kathy Poole (Danny); a son, Lloyd Bryant (Sue); two grandchildren, Matthew Bryant (Melenda) and Mary Beth Houchens (Blake); two great grandchildren, Madelyn Bryant and Nichalus Poole; two sisters, Margaret Poteet and Barbara Bryant; several nieces and nephews and lots of good friends and neighbors.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation 4:00-8:00 Wednesday at the funeral home.
