On Monday, March 25, 2013, Kentucky State Police Post #3 Bowling Green received a call in reference to an injury collision involving two commercial vehicles.

According to Trooper First Class Joel Huff  Shahied Faric Gotoy (29) of Desoto,TX was traveling North in his 2012 Freightliner tractor trailer when he exited the right side of the roadway and traveled overtop of the guardrail.  Gotoy then traveled down a very steep embankment and entered a large pool of water where he came to a final rest.

Francis Lamar Hancock II (35) Carrollton, GA was traveling behind Gotoy in his 2005 Peterbilt tractor trailer and struck debris that was thrown from the collision.  Hancock was not injured in the collision.  Gotoy was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital where he was treated and released.

TFC. Huff was assisted on scene by Vehicle Enforcement Officer Bryan Jones, Cave City Fire Department, Barren County EMS, Barren County Emergency Management, and Scotty’s Construction.
