J. T. Davis, 85, of Scottsville died at 8:41 a.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.  The Glasgow, KY native was a farmer, former member of Peter's Creek Missionary Baptist Church and member of Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church.  He was a son of the late Ester Bazzel Davis and Lela Lee Houchens Davis and husband of the late Annie Pearl Elmore Davis.

He is survived by 3 sons:  Gary Davis and former wife, Lois; Barry Davis and former wife, Darlene; and Tim Davis and wife, Deanna, all of Scottsville, KY;2 sisters:  Catherine Wiley, Glasgow, KY and Christine Shipley, Bowling Green, KY;5 grandchildren:  Todd Davis, Amy Meador, Brenda Davis, Stacey Davis and John Davis;15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter:  Marcia Davis.

Funeral services for J. T. Davis will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lewis Johnson officiating and burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.   Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home.
