Fred E Denton, 70 of Bowling Green died Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Medical Center.The Monroe County native was a son of the late Jack and Della Smith Denton, husband of the late Marie Talley Denton and preceded in death by a brother Aaron Denton. He was retired from Bada Manufacturing, a member of Crosspoint Pentacostal Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Jackson (Doug) and Michelle Taylor (Robbie); four sons, Larry Burch (Sharon), Mike Burch (Donna), Chris Elrod (Shannon), Jeff Denton (Delena); a sister, Peggy Adwell and husband Willie of Glasgow; 13 grandchildren, Brandy Jernigan (Jerry), Christy Cox, Brad Jackson, NaTasha Burch (Brent Brandsford), Matthew Jackson (Miranda), Chadd Burch, Kara Elrod, Joseph Taylor, Shelby Taylor, MacKenzie Taylor, A. J. Denton, Aaron Denton, Taelyn Banks; 12 great grandchildren, Tori Lawson, Kelsey & Brooklyn Cox, Reagan Burch, Drew Elrod, Conner Higgason, Ty, Cade, Rylan & Ada Jernigan, Mary & Carson Brandsford.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation 3:00- 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hardy & Son Funeral Home for help with funeral expenses.
