Kerry L. Trent age 68 of Hodgenville passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was a native of Metcalfe County and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He retired from Walmart Technical Service after 20 years as a H.V.A.C. and refridgeration technician. He was the former owner of Trent's Heating and Cooling in Horse Cave.

Survivors Include wife: Helen J. Trent of Hodgenville; son: Christopher Lane Trent of Deerfield Beach, Fl; sister: Jeanetta Sanders of Hardyville; nephew: Barry Sanders of Hardyville; 2 nieces: Teresa Estes of Horse Cave, Karen Huff of Hardyville; uncle: J.T. Lane of Springfield, Ill.

Mr. Trent was preceded in death by his parents Clay and Adrine Lane Trent.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Barren Run Cemetery in Sonora. Visitation 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home.
