On Saturday Glasgow Police Officer Ford responded to Veterans’ Outer Loop in reference to a white Ford Ranger truck in the middle of the road and no one was with the truck.  Upon arrival it was obvious to the officer that the truck had been involved in an accident. 911 Dispatch ran the Indiana license plate and verify that the truck had been stolen early that same day.

Captain Pedigo located the driver, 56 year old Indiana resident, Timmy Don Jackson near the Jackson Highway on the Outer Loop not far from the accident.  Jackson had a cut above his eye and he said he fell while walking in the woods.

Jackson finally admitted to stealing the truck and wrecking it. He also stated he didn’t know what state he was in or where he came from.  He was transported to the Barren County Correction Center after being checked by EMS. Jackson was charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Render Aid or Assistance and Receiving Stolen Property, $10,000 or more.
