Kentucky State Police are investigating a collision 6 miles south of Columbia.  22-year-old Leah Franklin of Russell Springs was traveling south on KY 55 driving a 2006 Mitsubishi when she left the south bound shoulder of the roadway. Her  car continued over an embankment and stopped in the side ditch. Her passengers, 22-year-old Nikki McClanahan of Russell Springs and 16-year-old Jennifer Roy of Jamestown were not wearing seatbelts.  Roy and Franklin were transported to Russell County Hospital where they were treated and released.  Adair County EMS assisted.
