Eugene “Jim” Bishop,  86,  of Louisville, KY,  passed away  Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Louisville.  He was a  WWII Army Veteran, a pipefitter for LG&E and a member of Longfield United Baptist Church. The  Lancaster KY native was born on February 10, 1927, the son of the late Herbert and Sally A. Johnson Bishop and the   husband of the late Chinessa Hogan Bishop.

He is survived by a daughter, Norma Jean Koerber (Butch) and a grandson, Chris Koerber all of Louisville.

Burial will be in the Poplar Spring Church Cemeter with military rites at the gravesite. Bro. Billy Vincent will officiate.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Parkinson Support Center.
