Rev. Alburn Gilliam, 87, of Scottsville, KY died at 12:05 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 at Westmoreland Care and Rehab.  The Allen County, KY native was a retired farmer, member of Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church, Graham Lodge #208 F & AM, Royal Arch Masons and Council, Mt. Union Association of General Baptists, an original committee member for the Mt. Union Association Tabernacle and General Baptist minister since 1958.   He was a son of the late Clarence Gilliam and Lattie Lucille Johnston Gilliam and husband of the late Mary Marie West Gilliam and Mary Etta Calvert Gilliam.

He is survived by his wife:  Helen Bunch Gilliam, Bowling Green, KY;

2 sons:  Bro. Lawrence Gilliam and wife, Fredia and Willard Gilliam and wife, Greta, all of Scottsville, KY;

3 daughters:  Marjorie Mosley, Conyers, GA; Melba Patrick and husband, Arnold and Donna Williams and husband, Greg, all of Scottsville, KY;

1 brother:  Clarence Gilliam, Jr., Scottsville, KY;

2 sisters:  Mary Lucille Smith and husband, Nathan, Brentwood, TN and Peggy Smith and husband, James, Scottsville, KY;

7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 3 step great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 7:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home.
