Paldona Childers Mulkins, 96 of Brownsville, passed away February 21, 2013 at her home. She was a caregiver and housekeeper and of the Baptist faith.

The Edmonson County native was born November 12, 1916 to the late Elgie Pedro Childers and the late Flossie Skaggs Childers and wife of the late Ralph E. Mulkins.

She is survived by  a son D. Kirby Cowles and Sandra of Texas; one daughter Anna Carol Moore of Brownsville; one sister June Weber of Louisville; ten grandchildren 26 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a step son: Bobby Cowles, granddaughter, Marisa Anna Cowles, three brothers and four sisters.

Bro. Donald Webb will officiate. Burial in the Belle Key Cemetery.
