3 GLASGOW PERSONS ARRESTED FOR DRUG-RELATED CHARGES PDF Print

On Tuesday, February 19th at 8:56 pm, Glasgow Police Officers responded to 1104 Columbia Avenue Lot 44 in reference to a warrant on 35-year-old Sharon West of Glasgow. Upon arrival at the residence, west opened the door along with 63-year-old William Clark and 49-year-old George Yates both of Glasgow. Police could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the house. Inside of the home, police located a marijuana grinder, a small amount of marijuana, rolling papers, and baggies with shake. While clearing the house, an officer located a plastic bag with white powder in the bathroom. Verified by the test kit, the powder was cocaine. Nobody in the residence claimed ownership of the Cocaine.

While escorting West to the cruiser, she cursed very loudly after being asked to stay quiet. West was arrested and transported to the Barren County jail.

West, Clark, and Yates were all charged with Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Degree – 1st Offense – Cocaine. West was additionally charged with Disorderly Conduct – 2nd Degree, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
