Garmon Rhoton, 68, of  Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, February 12th, at Monroe County Medical Center. Garmon was born in Tompkinsville, Ky on July 23, 1944, a son of the late May (Goad) and Cecil  Rhoton. On September 4, 1976, at the home of Albert and Cletra Hammer, he married Hilda Ferguson who survives. Garmon served in the U.S. Army, in the Vietnam War, and worked for the State of Ky Highway Department  was a cattle dealer, and a member of the Mt. Gilead Church of Christ.

Garmon is also survived by two daughters, Cara (Shawn) Ford, of Tompkinsville,Ky.; Sarah (Darren) Russell, of Sellersburg IN; two sisters, Genoa Shirley, of Tompkinsville,Ky.; and Modella Mattingley, of Hardinsburgh, Kentucky and five grandchildren, Shawn Ford Jr., Heather Ford, Thomas Ford, Luke Russell. and Isabelle Russell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, May and Cecil Rhoton, one brother, Glen Rhoton, and two sisters, Gerlene Dill and Maureen Crusenberry.

Funeral Services at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville,Ky.,will be  at 2PM on Friday, February 15th,  with Tim McHenry officiating. Visitation, Thursday 3-9PM.   and Friday 6AM-2PM.   at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. .

Interment in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn with Military Honors performed by the Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.
