Wallace Meeks, 88 of Smiths Grove died Friday, February 8, 2013 at Cal Turner Rehab & Speciality Care.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Alvie Meeks & Ollie Woods Meeks. He is preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Murphy and four brothers, Herbert Meeks, Ed Meeks, Leon Meeks, Harvey Meeks. Wallace was a retired employee of the State Highway Department, a member of Martinsville Baptist Church, Kentucky Colonel, and a 50 year member of Oakland Mason Lodge #563.

Survivors include his wife Imogene Smith Meeks, a son Charles Meeks  and wife Jayne; two grandsons Chris Meeks and wife Deanna and Casey Meeks; a granddaughter, Charity Parrish (Darren); five great grandchildren, Tyler Meeks, Taylor Meeks, Kendall Meeks, Devin Hartman and Clay Parrish; a sister, Virginia Studle; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Martinsville Cemetery. Visitation 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday with Masonic service at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
