Una Faye Claypool McGuffey, 83, of Scottsville, KY died at 10:05 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and a retired manager for Super X Drugs. She was a daughter of the late John Henry Claypool and Beulah Mae Tabor Claypool and wife of the late Buel D McGuffey, Sr.

She is survived by 3 sons: Dr. Ken McGuffey and wife, Pat, Indianapolis, IN; Thomas Claypool McGuffey and wife, Rita, Brandenburg, KY and Rev. Buel D McGuffey and wife, Gail, Settle Community;

1 daughter: Pamela McGuffey, Settle Community;

1 niece: Phila Hinton, Scottsville, KY;

2 nephews: Mike Mitchell, Mt. Sterling, KY and John Mitchell, Bowling Green, KY;

8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren;

She was preceded in death by 1 sister: Willa Mae Mitchell.

Funeral services will be 12:Noon Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Keen officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
