SCHOOL BUS ACCIDENT YESTERDAY ON BEAVER VALLEY ROAD PDF Print

On Thursday, January 24th, at approximately 3:42 pm, the Barren County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a non-injury accident involving a passenger car and a Barren County school bus on Beaver Valley Road. The passenger car was a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix operated by Sherri R. Moore of Horse Cave, KY. Upon arrival, deputies observed the front end of Moore’s vehicle completely lodged up to the vehicles windshield under the bus operated by Michael D. Hanlin of Glasgow. There were two children on the bus at the time of the accident but there were no injuries. The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Deputy Kevin Wilson is investigating the accident. He was assisted by Deputy Shannon White, Barren Metcalfe EMS, and the South Barren Fire Department.
