Area swimmers competed last night as Allen County Scottsville, Barren County, and Glasgow celebrated senior night. In the girls meet, Glasgow High school had a talented showing from senior Megan Taylor with two victories in the 50 and 100 Freestyle. Glasgow also had victories from Grayson Reynolds in the 200 Freestyle and 100 fly. Barren County had a strong meet with top finishes from Kennedy Ludwig and Paige London. London earned a first place finish in the 100 Breast stroke while Ludwig earned a first in the 200 IM. Each school captured a relay race during the meet.

For the Boys meet, Barren county posted fast times with their younger swimmers. Caleb Rich led the way for the Trojans earning two first places in the 100 and 200 freestyle.  Josh Doyle Contributed for the Trojans with a top time in the 500 freestyle and Seth Groce helped the Trojans with two second place finishes. Allen County Scottsville’s Travis Durocher helped the Patriots with wins in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke.

In team scores, Barren County won the girls meet while the Boys meet was taken by Allen County Scottsville. The next meet for Barren County and Glasgow will be Region 1 Championship Meet hosted at the Owensboro Health Park in Owensboro, Kentucky starting February eighth.
