Jerry Dale Pennington, 62, of Mount Hermon, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his residence. Jerry was born in Plant City, Florida on September 5, 1950, a son of  Ilyene (Pennington) Norris and Preston  Norris. On December 12, 1998 at Covington, VA he married Betty Jane (Henderson) Pennington who survives him.

He worked as a carpenter Jerry is  survived by two daughters, Cristy Dixon, of Sparta, TN.; Stacy Jones, of Ft. Worth, TX; two sons, Jamie Pennington, of Fouke, AR; Russell  Truxillo, of Austin, TX; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Jerry is also survived by a sister, Ruby Hurt, of Tompkinsville, KY. and two brothers, David Norris, of Mt. Herman, KY; Steve  Norris, of Mt. Hermon, KY; Creamation was chosen by the family.
