Eura Brown, 96, of Scottsville, KY died at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Macon County, TN native was a homemaker, retired employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and member of Scottsville First General Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Jesse Lavada Kepley and Mettie Ethel Linville Kepley and wife of the late Rev. Curtis Brown.

She is survived by 2 sons: Harold G. Brown and wife, Brenda; Freddy Joe Brown and wife, Jannice, all of Scottsville, KY;1 daughter: Marverine Bonds, Scottsville, KY;9 grandchildren: Jimmie Ronald Bonds, Jerry Steven Bonds, Timothy Lane Bonds, Jeleta Lynn Higgason, JeanAnne Williams, Karen Rene Britt, Janet Lynn Goodman, Angela Season Stallings and Eli Daniel Brown;21 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren;

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Era Kepley and Clora Gilliam and 1 son-in-law: Bro. L.V. Bonds.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Cushenberry officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.
