Paul Weston Day, 43, of Richmond, KY, passed away Jan. 12, 2013. He was a dedicated employee of Gray Construction, a site manager for over 25 years. Weston enjoyed fishing, golfing and flying model airplanes and he loved his cats, Filo, Harley, Alley and Josie. He leaves behind many family members who loved him dearly and many church and school friends. Today, we know he is no longer suffering, he accepted Jesus Christ at the age of 11 and was baptized by Rev. Brad Walden who has been a close friend since his birth.

He was the beloved son of Paul and Grace Day; brother of Kimberly D. Kidd and Pamela D. Greene; uncle of Emily Kidd, Portia Greene and Paul Kidd; and dearly loved by Carol Day.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ermine and Henry Wilson and Mary and Henry Day. Weston was a graduate of Lafayette High School and attended the University of Kentucky.

Rev. Brad Walden and Rev. Tommy Simpson will officiate the funeral at 12 pm Thurs. at Tates Creek Christian Church, 3150 Tates Creek Rd., Lexington, KY. The viewing time will be 10 am Thurs. until the service time at the church. Burial will take place in Cub Run Cemetery in Hart County, KY.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Kidd, Paul Kidd, Doug Ross, Jeff Baker, Tom Noftsger and Chip Dennison. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry McMurray and Dennis Moore. Donations in Weston’s memory may be made to Tates Creek Christian Church.
