On Saturday, January 12^th, at approximately 10:30 am, Glasgow Police responded to Columbia Avenue and Park Avenue to a Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival, 25-year-old Brandon Lawrence Gibson of Central City was not on scene. A witness stated Gibson had traveled to Adams Place Apartments. Officer McGuire traveled to Adams Place and made contact with Gibson. Upon further investigation, police discovered that Gibsons vehicle did not have insurance. His charges include failure of owner to maintain required insurance, and leaving the scene of an accident. Gibson was treated and released at TJ Samson Hospital, then was arrested, handcuffed, checked, double locked, seat belted, and transported to the Barren County Corrections Center.
