THEFT INVESTIGATION LEADS TO DRUG ARREST IN RUSSELL SPRINGS PDF Print

Kentucky State Police are investigating a complaint of a burglary in Russell Springs, Kentucky.    On Friday, KSP post 15 Troopers and Detectives arrived to Lakeway Drive in Russell Springs. After examining the scene, detectives were able to detect a burglary had occurred and  also discovered what appeared to be a hazardous waste over-pack suspected to be evidence in regards to the investigation.

Meth Lab cleanup units responded and discovered a one step meth lab in the over-pack. Through the course of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained for Nick Bertram’s residence.

The search yielded items related to the burglary, as well as multiple meth lab over-packs, suspected to be evidence. Also located were a one step meth lab and a large amount of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives charged Nick Bertram (26) of Jamestown, KY, with Burglary 3rd Degree, Official Misconduct, and Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bertram was lodged in the Russell County Jail.

The investigation is still ongoing and is being led by Detective Ricky Brooks.
