Robert Coats, 59 of Jefferson, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at his home.   He was a native of Glasgow

Robert worked most of his life as a welder at Trailer World in Bowling Green and spent most of his free time in the last few years as a volunteer at Wayside Christian Mission in Louisville, KY.  He was led to helping the homeless and people with addictions.   He will be greatly missed.

Robert is survived by-

1 son –Brandon Childress of Cave City

1 granddaughter-Charlotte Childress of Cave City

1 brother-Mark Ellis Coats of Cave City

1 uncle-Jess Goodhue of Louisville

3 nephews-Travis Coats & Nick Coats both of Cave City

and  Corrie Harlow of Hardyville

He was preceded in death by his father Ellis Coats, mother Katherine Coats and sister Sharon Harlow.

A Memorial Service for Robert Coats will be held at 2pm Saturday at the Sego Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family after 12noon Saturday at the funeral home.
