Emma Doris Turner, 80, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, December 25th, at Monroe County Health and Rehab Center. She was employed by Red Kap Sewing Factory.

Doris was born in Tompkinsville, Ky on April 27, 1932, a daughter of the late Bessie (Morris) Turner and Carlos Allen. She married Edwin  Morris Turner, who precedes her in death.

Doris  is  survived by two sons Michael Turner, of Tompkinsville, Ky; Ricky  Turner, of Tompkinsville, Ky; 2 grandchildren; Kelci Turner and Sherri Turner, 2 great grandchildren; Dylan and Briley, A sister, Louise  Emberton, of Tompkinsville, KY. and two brothers, Ezra  Allen, of Tompkinsville, KY, and Jesse Allen, of Indianapolis, In;

She is preceded in death by a son; Larry M. Turner, three brothers; Bill Allen, Clifton Allen and Clarence Allen., and one sister; Irene Hayden.

Funeral services will be held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 27th, with Bro. Paul Strong officiating . Visitation will start Thursday, December 27 at 10:00 A.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bowman -Poplar Log Cemetery.
