Yesterday morning around 7 am, 43-year-old Christopher L. Thomason was believed to be traveling westbound on Cumberland Parkway when it appears according to road/tire markings that his vehicle left the roadway on the left side traveling into the median. At that point, it appears that his vehicle then struck the rock wall, and then traveled back into the roadway. At some point during this collision, Christopher Thomason was ejected from the vehicle and into the roadway. Thomason was not responsive while on scene ad could not offer details of what cause the collision. During the investigation of the collision, suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle by Glasgow Fire Department and was logged into evidence at police headquarters. It is not known if Thomerson was impaired at the time of the collision. Thomason was flown to University of Louisville for further medical treatment. It is not known if there were vehicles or environmental contributing factors involved.
