Jerry R. Bush "Bush Man" to his friends and "Pop" to his grandchildren, died Monday, December 17, 2012.

The Louisville Native made a career in sales and marketing for four decades. He loved sports, family and giving. He devoted more than thirty years to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association as an official in basketball, football and softball leagues. He was also instrumental in the formation of the popular Winn-Dixie Street ball Showdown, found in Louisville more than two decades ago.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years: Muriel Skinner Bush; two sisters: Olive Toms and husband Frank and Cheryl Harlow and husband Doug; one daughter: Wendy Bush Clark and husband John; two grandchildren: John Jay Clark and wife Stephanie and June Katelyn Clark; previous son-in-law: Alan Williams and three step-grandchildren: Lacie, Kelsie and Kyle Williams.

Funeral services for Jerry R. Bush will be at 11AM Friday, December 21, 2012 at Valley View Baptist Church in Louisville with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Park City. Visitation will be from 12PM to 8PM Thursday, December 20, 2012 and after 9AM Friday, December 21, 2012 at the church in Louisville. Patton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
