Yesterday, December 13th, Police responded to Applebee’s  in reference to a male subject passed out at a table in the bar area. Upon arrival, police made contact with 24-year-old Dustin Jessie of Knob Lick, who was drooling on himself and was incoherent. After waking Jessie up, police checked him for possible weapons. During the check, police found what appeared to be numerous pills in his front left coat pocket, and a baggie of marijuana in his front right coat pocket. The baggie contained 65 generic Claritin D pills with a total of 15.6 grams of Sudafed in them. The pills were not in original containers and exceeded the maximum amount of Sudafed that a person can have on them. The above subject also had what appeared to be a chemical burn on his right hand. Jessie was arrested for public intoxication, and was handcuffed, then transported to the Barren County Jail. Jessie was charged with possession of a methamphetamine precursor, public intoxication of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana.
