Dwight Arnold England, age  82 of Edmonton, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Metcalfe Co. Health Care Center.  He was a retired truck driver and a son of the late Hastel and Brentz England.  He was a member of the South Edmonton Church of Christ and a US Army Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict.  He was past commander and member of the VFW Post 6281 of Edmonton.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Hood England;  one daughter, Marla Jean Cahill (Ivan Arney) of Guston, Ky;  three sons, David England, Madison NC, Jeffrey H. England, of Edmonton and Richard Joseph (Lonnie) England of Indiana;  one sister, Ollie Branstetter, of  Glasgow; six grandchildren, Jamie Fowler, Victoria Ann England, David Michael England, Matthew Dwight Cahill, Mitchell Thomas Cahill and Joseph Hastell England;  two great grandchildren, Noah Patrick  Cahill and Khloe Fowler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Hollis England and one grandchild, Rebecca Ann England.

Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 17 at 1:00 P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Trimm officiating.  Burial will follow in the Happy Valley Memorial Garden with DAV Chapter 20 providing military honors.

Visitation will begin Sunday, Dec. 16, at 1:00 P M at the funeral home.
