Tuesday, 27 November 2012 15:42

With all of the necessary signage in place, KYTC contract crews will begin preparing the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 for traffic shifts towards the shoulder of the road.

Traffic will be pushed down to ONE LANE this evening from mile marker 48 to mile marker 59 (Park City to Horse Cave). The lane closure will be situated further south due to the barrier wall split in traffic already in place prior to Exit 53 at Cave City.

Crews will be milling tonight from 7:00 pm until 7:00 am between Cave City and Horse Cave. This work is tentatively scheduled for completion tonight, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to reduce their speed and anticipate slow moving traffic while traveling through this work zone.
