Doris Elizabeth Walker, 59, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 21st, at her home after a short illness. Doris was born in Indianapolis, Ind. on July 30, 1953, a daughter of the late Lazalia (Ingram) and Melton   Smith.

Doris is  survived by a son, David Sparks, of Tompkinsville, KY; three sisters, Lynn Michaels, Dorine  Urick, and Rhonda Beckham, all of Indiana; three brothers, Eddie Smith, of Tompkinsville, KY; Terry Smith, and Doug Smith, both of Indiana; also surviving are 3 grandchildren. Doris worked as a cook for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, KY, at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 24th,  with Allen Wilson officiating.  Visitation is Friday 4:00-9:00 P.M. and Saturday 6:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Serving as pallbearers-Ronnie Wade, John Yokley, Chris Hodge, Gary Clements, Tony White and J.D. Woods
