| TRAFFIC STOP ON THE INTERSTATE NETS MULTIPLE CHARGES AGAINST A BOWLING GREEN MAN |

On Tuesday at 9:00 A.M., Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green Master Trooper Terry Alexander initiated a traffic stop on I-65 near Oakland, KY. During the course of the traffic stop, approximately 70 grams of processed marijuana, and a stolen handgun were located.
The driver of the 2005 Chevrolet Impala, Rickshard Collins (21) of Bowling Green, was arrested on multiple charges including: Speeding 16 MPH over, Operating on a Suspended License, Excessive window tinting, failure to produce insurance card, DUI 1st, Carrying Concealed Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking in Marijuana less than 8 oz., Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm).
Collins was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. Master Trooper Alexander was assisted by Trooper Brett Coomes and Trooper Barry Eaton (K-9)
