Bruce Logsdon, 62, of Brownsville, KY, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Bowling Green.  He was born on February 5, 1950 in Edmonson County to the late Chasteen “Doc” and Bertie Brooks Logsdon and the husband of Cathy Salings Logsdon.  Bruce was the former Edmonson County Jailer, owner of the Wildcat Carwash & Storage, a member of Cub Run Masonic Lodge # 910 F&AM and Union Light Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Salings Logsdon of Brownsville, KY; his daughter, Shelia Logsdon of Brownsville, KY; two grandsons, Jerry Bruce “J.B.” Logsdon (Natalee) and Terry Wayne Hughes both of Brownsville, KY; two sisters, Zelda Foster (John Read) of Scottsville, KY and Janet Logsdon Burton of Mammoth Cave, KY; three brothers, Gary Logsdon (Amanda) of Brownsville, KY, Sam Logsdon (Sherry) of Bowling Green, KY and Bobby Logsdon of Brownsville, KY and a brother-in-law, Dwight Wilson of Mammoth Cave, KY.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Joey Ray Logsdon and Bruce Wayne Logsdon and his sister, Pat Wilson.

Funeral services for Bruce Logsdon will be at 2PM Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Union Light Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 11AM to 8PM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Patton Funeral Home and after 10AM Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the church. Masonic services will be conducted by Cub Run Masonic Lodge # 910 F&AM, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 7:00 pm, at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel. Burial will be in Union Light Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
