Marie Byrn, 81, of Scottsville, KY died at 8:09 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, retired employee of Scotscraft and member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Elbridge Lester Mabrey and Gertie Franklin Blankenship Mabrey, Sr. and wife of the late Francis Alvin Byrn.

She is survived by 3 sons:  Dwight Byrn and Chris Byrn and wife, Leslie, all of Scottsville, KY; Randy Byrn and wife, Rebel, Glasgow, KY; 1 daughter:  Marianne Miller and husband, Mike, Scottsville, KY;  1 brother:  Jimmy Mabrey and wife, Martha, Scottsville, KY; 1 sister:  Wilma Bracken, Indianapolis, IN; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers:  Will Lewis Mabrey, Melvin Mabrey and Elbridge Lester Mabrey, Jr.; 1 sister:  Mildred Whitlow.

Funeral services for Marie Byrn will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 12 noon Monday at Goad Funeral Home.
