GLASGOW MAN CAUGHT DISOBEYING HIS DVO AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA PDF Print

On Saturday, October 20th, at around 9 pm, Glasgow Police responded to Lakeview apartments in reference to a complaint of a possible domestic assault. Upon arrival, Officer Houchens and Sergeant Lewis approached the apartment where the possible assault was supposed to have occurred. While Officer Houchens knocked on the door, Sergeant Lewis witnessed 27-year-old Joshua Cogar of Glasgow run into the back bedroom of the house. Dispatch that confirmed a Domestic Violence Order was issued on August 1st, 2011. The DVO stipulated no contact or communication between the subjects. The K-9 unit arrived on scene and was walked through the residence. The dog detected a hit in the bathroom trash. Inside the trash was a sandwich bad with a corner missing. There were numerous plastic bags with residue on them. The bathroom was in the room in which Cogar ran into. Cogar was arrested and charged with Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
