Joshua David Dennison, age 28,  died Friday after a brave fight with cancer.  He was born  in Glasgow and was a graduate of Glasgow High School. In 2002, at the age of 18, Josh joined the United States Air Force. This began his career as an American Airman. He was stationed in Germany, Nebraska and deployed to Kuwait as part of Operations IRAQI/ENDURING FREEDOM. In 2010, Josh was reassigned to Tyndall AFB, Panama City, Florida.

Survivors include his wife Jessica D. Dennison of Panama City a son, Jayden David Dennison of Panama City and daughter, Abbigail B. Furlong of Glasgow, KY; His mother, Marie Y. Dennison of Jackson, GA; Grandmother, Hellen M. Reeves Webber; and Brother John C. Dennison. An Aunt, Patty Wilson of Glasgow; two uncles, Todd and Tim Bow both of Glasgow; cousins Jason Wilson, Maranda McCandless and Kristen Bow all of Glasgow and Aundrea Bow of Hardyville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Horace D. Dennison.

The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral home chapel beginning at 9:00 AM, Thursday, October 11th. Immediately following will be the funeral service at 10:00 AM. Burial will be Saturday in Jackson Georgia  Contributions in Mr. Dennison's name may be made to Covenant Hospice.
