Marcella Vibbert Dodson, age 61 of Summer Shade, died Wednesday, Oct. 3 2012 at the Monroe Co. Medical Center.  She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Era Elmore Vibbert and a member of the Cedar Flat Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Morris Dodson;  three sons, Shane (Bridgett) Dodson, of Summer Shade,  Terry Dodson of Edmonton and Steven Dodson of Summer Shade:  four grandchildren, Chloe Dodson, Cassie Dodson, Kinsley Dodson and Kyle Dodson;  five sisters, Shirley (Bobby) Glover, Dean Harper, Marie (Mack) Warren Kathy Franklin(Willie Rich) all of Summer Shade and Barbara (Jim) Crump of Glasgow.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Jill Harper, nephew, James Dubree and brother in law, Raymond Harper.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2:00 P M at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Poynter and Bro Nathan Sowers officiating. Burial will follow in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday,Oct 5 at 5:00 P M and continue through Saturday, Oct. 6 at the funeral home
