On Saturday, September 29th, Hart County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of a stolen pick-up with tools and a welder from 1569 East Main Street in Horse Cave. Hart County Sheriff’s Deputy Kenneth Glass was notified that the vehicle had been stopped in cave City, KY.

Arrested by Deputy Glass was 19-year-old Jacob A. Pedigo of Glasgow. He was charged with Theft by Unlawful taking – Auto and Theft by Unlawful taking – all others. Pedigo was lodged in the Hart County Jail in lieu of $9,500 cash bond. The vehicle and tools were returned to the owner. Assisting in the arrest was horse cave Police Department and Cave City Police Department.
