32-YEAR-OLD GLASGOW MAN ARRESTED FOR ALCOHOL-RELATED CHARGES PDF Print

At 11:20 Saturday night, Glasgow Police Department received a reckless driving report. Sergeant Steele observed the vehicle waving throughout the roadway on HWY 1297. Upon contact, Sergeant Steele detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage upon 32-year-old Carlos Escobar of Glasgow. Due to a language barrier, Escobar could not accurately demonstrate field sobriety test and was very unsteady on his feet. Escobar stated that he had consumed five drinks. It was confirmed that the he does not have a valid operator’s license. Escobar could not show proof of insurance and it could not be verified. Escobar was charged with Failure to  Maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense, No Operator/Moped License, and Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs/Alcohol, he was also arrested and transported to the Barren County Jail.
