Bonita Carol Schlafke, 64 of Munfordville passed away at 9:12am Sunday, September 16, at the T.J. Samson Comm. Hospital ER.  She was a former medical assistant, a member of the Leitchfield Crossing Baptist Church, the WMU, the Munfordville Order of Eastern Star and the Red Hatters.

She was preceded in death by her father-James Huff

Bonita is survived by her husband-Larry

1 Son-Chris Schlafke & wife Emily of Glasgow

2 Daughters-Sheila Garmon & husband Wayne of Glasgow and  Tammy McIntire of Horse Cave

2 Brothers-Ronnie Huff & Royce Huff both of Munfordville

3 Sisters-Regina Meadows & Brenda Fitzstephens both of Munfordville and  Charlotte Sloan of Lexington

7 grandchildren

Funeral services for Bonita Carol Schlafke will be 1pm Wednesday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 11am-9pm, Tuesday from 8am-9pm and after 8am Wednesday at the Sego Funeral Home until time for services.

The family request that memorial donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
