Maydell Bryant Smith, 77, Hardyville, passed away Thursday, August 08, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, KY.  The Hart County native was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Mae Philpott Bryant.  She was a homemaker and member of Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Smith, Hardyville; a daughter, Linda Rayner (Larry), Oakland; a sister, Juanita Hatcher, Horse Cave; two grandchildren, Nicole Vibbert (James), Indianapolis, J. D. Rayner, Oakland and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1PM Saturday, August 11th at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City, with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Visitation at the funeral home will be after 9:30 AM Saturday until time of services.
