Jimmy Dale Thompson, 59 of Upton passed away Sunday morning at his home.  He was born in Barren Co. on October 27, 1952 to the late Woodrow and Etta Jean Meredith Thompson.   He was a former construction worker and a member of the Center Point Baptist Church.

Jimmy is survived by his wife-Irene Riggs Thompson

1 son-Jimmy Thompson, Jr. & wife Letitia of Clarkson

1 daughter-Beverly Thompson & Dexter Booker of Glendale

1 brother-Mike Thompson of Louisville

2 sisters-Teresa Coomer & Sheila Hagan both of Louisville

3 grandchildren also survive

Funeral services for Jimmy Dale Thompson will be 1pm Tuesday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Center Point Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10am-1pm at the Sego Funeral Home. The family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
