Joseph Earl Payton 56 of Burkesville, KY formally of Connersville, IN. died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Connersville, IN he was the son of the late Robert Earl and Gladys Bates Payton and was an employee of DM Manufacturing in Indiana.

Survivors include 2 daughters Carol Youngman of Greensburg, IN and Kelsey Payton of Louisville, KY; 1 son Joseph William Payton of Connersville, IN; 1 brother Robert Payton; 6 grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held at the Metamora Church of Christ in Metamora, IN at 1PM EST Saturday, August 4, 2012 there will be no visitation cremation was chosen by the family. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY is assisting family with arrangements.
