Ralph Alreid Hicks, age 85of Glasgow, died Thursday, July 26 at the T J Samson Community Hospital.  He was a retired truck driver and son of the late Charlie and Anna Criswell Hicks. He was a member of the Trinity Southern Baptist Church of In.

He is survived by five daughters, Frances and husband Ed Adkins of Temple Hill, Barbara and husband Darrell Hurt of Summer Shade,  Sheila and husband Mike Wix of In., Nita and husband Steve Campbell of Prestonburg  and Sylvia Davidson of Glasgow;  four sons, Bobby and wife Sue Hicks, Louie  and wife Karen Hicks, Paul and wife Sondra Hicks and Roger and wife Charity Hicks all of IN.  one brother, Glenn Hicks of IN.  20 grandchildren and several great and great, great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Luzadie Hicks, one son Roy Hicks, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 28 at 1:00 PM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro .Bobby Southwood officiating. Visitation will be Friday at 4:00 PM Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Beaumont Cemetery.
