The Glasgow Board of Education learned last night that everything is on schedule for the completion of the new high school.   Representatives of the parties involved in the construction were there last night to answer questions and discuss a few last change orders.  Board Chairman Elaine Richardson explained that the asbestos abatement project within the old building is on schedule and should not slow down the demolition process:

The board learned at last night’s regular meeting that Sharon Ritter is leaving as Instructional Supervisor to take a job with the Kentucky Department of Education ad an Education Recovery Specialist.  This is a similar position to the one former South Green Principal Bill Philbeck took 3 years ago with KDE.

And the board honored retiring  Highland Elementary teacher Terri Wells for her 28 years of service to the district.
