Preston Lively "Pep" Mansfield, age 93, of Munfordville, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at his residence in Munfordville, KY. He was a retired Hart County Math Teacher, an avid outdoorsman and a member of Munfordville United Methodist Church. After graduating from Annapolis, he served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was the son of the late Henry Mansfield and the late Anna Grace Larimore Mansfield.

He is survived by 8 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Mansfield Clement, brother, Paul Huston "Pooch" Mansfield and an infant brother, Henry Franklin Mansfield Jr. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Munfordville FIrst United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the church with Pastor Rick Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery, Munfordville, KY. Memorial donations may be made to Munfordville First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
