Manie Beckner Greene, 95, of Park City, KY, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 in Glasgow. She was born in Edmonson County to the late Veachel Beckner and the late Josie Wilkins Beckner and the wife of the late Wavie Clifford Greene.

She was a retired Post Master in Park City, member of the Eastern Star and Park City Baptist Church  where she was a Sunday school teacher and Past President of WMU.

She is survived by three sons, Ed Greene and wife Loretta of Rio Rancho, NM, David Greene and wife Kim of Glasgow, KY and Doug Greene and wife Julie of Oak Ridge, TN; one sister, Eugenia Smith of Greenwood, IN; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Lopez, Jason Greene and wife Anji, Bradley Greene and wife Amber, Andrew Greene, Lauren Szymanski and husband Erik, Layne Grime and husband Jonathon, Catherine Greene and Meredith Greene and two great grandchildren, Drew Greene and Ella Greene. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Loyd, Homer and Albert Beckner and four sisters, Elsie Cassidy, Enola Fryer , Elizabeth “Buffy” England and Hazel Shirley.

Visitation for Manie Beckner Greene will be from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday, July 2012 and 9:00 am-11:00am, Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel. The Funeral Service will be 11:00am, Monday July 2, 2012 at the Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
