Sue McCullough Bushong age 90 of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Tompkinsville died Monday, June 25, 2012 at her home.  She was the wife of the late Dr. William R. Bushong.  The Erlanger, KY native served with the Army Nurse Corps during World War II and until her retirement, had served 12 years as director of nursing at what is now Monroe Health and Rehab in Tompkinsville.

She is survived by four sons, Bill from Lexington, John of Madisonville, Kentucky, Bob of Glasgow and Paul of Florida; a daughter with whom she lived, Susan Bushong of Nashville.  Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also surviving.

A tribute to Sue McCullough Bushong’s life will be held on Sunday, September 2 at 2pm at the Wellness Center in Tompkinsville.
